That’s right my friends! Welcome to the new (and not really approved) Joelika.com. Hopefully everything is working pretty well, since I didn’t really get a chance to test this before making it live (come on, you know I totally busted this out of my butt this weekend!). I did check it in Safari, FireFox, and Camino, so if you have one of those browsers, javascript turned on, and at least Flash 7 installed, you should be golden. If you are using IE 6, well, I can’t say for sure how it will look. I did put it a lot of hacks so hopefully it degrades well, but like I said, I have no clue. I’ll check it out tomorrow when I’m at work to see how I did.

So you maybe wondering what is so new and great here at Joelika.com? Well, not really much honestly, other than the eye candy, but I will be putting up new content regularly now. But to kick things off, I’ve uploaded into the database 5 years worth of posts. So if you’re bored at work, or just like to do something shady on “the man’s” time, you can start reading to your hearts content. Now, I’m not saying all of those posts are gems, I mean, after all, I did write some of them when I was still in High School, but it should give you at least one laugh or two. Don’t know where to start? Click on the “Hit Me!” button on the right to see a random page. Seriously, you could waste a whole day on it (or at least 15 minutes).

Other than that, I’ve migrated to zenphoto for my gallery, so you can check that out. No new photos yet, but I will be uploading some I took when I was in China this past year (yeah, I was in China… we have a lot to catch up on my friends). Because of the switch, I haven’t put up my videos yet since I don’t know how I am going to handle them (zenphoto is for photos only, which I like), so for now, you’ll be taken to the old Joelika gallery if you want to see them.

Other than that, I’ll be posting on things I find interesting or something I’d like to share. You know, like a real blog. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
