It’s Tuesday and you know what that means… Update time! Oh yeah! This update almost didn’t make it because, well, I couldn’t breath in the Art Computer Lab. I came in today and the room had the most rank stench of B.O. I have ever smelled! I was literally tearing and I had to flee for my life. But hours later, and thanks to this industrial fan, my fingers are able to type without trembling.

Isabel has come and gone and for the most part, as I predicted, nothing even happened (OK, OK, in the Reading Area). I only lost power for a brief time, and we didn’t even have any trees fall down (and I live in the forest people), so I really don’t understand why my school canceled all classes that fateful day. It’s not that I am complaining mind you, I really did enjoy the extra sleep (because you know I didn’t do anything productive that day), it’s just I wish they would be consistent! If they are going to call off for rain on Friday, they should at least have the curtsy to call off for rain today, and any other day in which the sky is drooling on me! I could have used that extra sleep this morning.

Isabel, Isabel, ISABEL… Oooo! Say it again! Her name invokes such power, such terror, such… wait a second! I live in Pennsylvania! Almost in Central Pennsylvania (OK, and hour from Harrisburg for those of you who want to look this up on a map and try to destroy me)! We aren’t next to any ocean! Why is everyone getting so freaked out?

Today as I woke up, it seemed like Christmas. All night I had silly dreams of Steve Jobs and his little elvish code monkeys running through my head with shiny G5 PowerBooks and Panthers pouncing and mauling those who would be brave enough, or stupid enough, to oppose Steve’s will. I grinned a sly grin as I tried to sleep last night, but in fact, I was laying awake for hours just waiting to hear that string of profanity, the tale tale sign of Steve Jobs’ coming, as he would start his Windows slaying that night.

OK, so last weeks updatation was a little, how do you say, uneven. But hey! At least I served you one fully cooked meal and not some half cooked salmonella ball of death! You should be thankful my friends!

Not to much going on here in the Joelika compound (and yes, they do keep me in a compound). I just finished up a Spanish test (that’s prueba for my Spanish speaking friends…) and of course, everyone is just sweating with anticipation as to what Steve Jobs will announce at tomorrow’s Paris Stevenote (It starts at 4 AM EST for those of you who want to be the first to know). Will there be new PowerBook G4s (or maybe even the fabled G5)? Will there be iTunes for Windows? Or maybe Steve Jobs will finally unleash his plan to take over the world and smite all of his enemies. Either way, tomorrow will be a special day for all of humanity. I am personally wearing my turtle neck all day to gain good Karma! Hail Steve Jobs!
